JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for defining the value proposition of new and innovative social health initiatives, outlining their vision, and developing a comprehensive execution plan through a business case that demonstrates both the social and financial value. The incumbent will also leverage their deep knowledge of Social Health to lead the operations of existing programs, and partner with providers to enable them to incorporate social health into their work. A key aspect of this role involves gaining alignment and support from both internal and external strategic partners and stakeholders and overseeing the execution of these programs to deliver on the defined vision.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand the department's and the company's strategic roadmap and competitive position, and develops a holistic product vision and the corresponding product strategy to drive maximum value. Clearly set and communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across audiences, from product team to executive levels.
- Actively anticipates future needs and utilizes metrics and qualitative input to identify asset improvement opportunities.
- Represent the product in all governance meetings.

- Serve as accountable owner for the sets of products/tools within the designated portfolio.
- Identify and drives both cross-product and cross-customer value and shared learnings.
- Guides Agile developments in the role of Product Owner.
- Own the product backlog and uses input from internal and partner teams to frequently refresh and re-prioritize the backlog.

Preferred Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive program roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and market needs.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in Social Health.
- Create compelling business cases that clearly demonstrate the social impact and financial return on investment for proposed programs
- Lead the full lifecycle of Social Health programs, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing operations.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of existing Social Health programs, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to established protocols.
- Monitor program performance against key metrics and make data-driven adjustments to optimize outcomes.
- Identify and implement best practices for program management and operational excellence within the Social Health domain.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., clinical teams, product development, marketing, legal) to secure alignment and resources.
- Develop and execute strategies to enable providers to effectively integrate Social Health practices and solutions into their workflows.
- Oversee the execution of all Social Health initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with program implementation.
- Regularly report on program progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
EDUCATION
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in science, technology, mathematics or related field OR relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor’s degree

- MSW
- MPH
- MBA
EXPERIENCE
Required
- 3 years of Product experience
To Include:
- 1 year of Advanced domain experience
Preferred
- 5 years of social health program design and execution
- 3-5 years leading cross functional teams
- 3-5 years experience in healthcare or health plan operations
- 3-5 years in Clinical Quality

Pay Range Minimum:
$78,900.00Pay Range Maximum:
$147,500.00Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
